[MODULE] Facebook Fan Page Block v0.1

I have developed my first module for Prestashop to display the Facebook Fan Page in our shop.

Here you can see an example of it. Instruction for installation are in the rar, very easy to do.

Hope to improve it a bit in the next days, feel free to do what ever you want with it but please share any changes you do in the code.

Hi,
I've downloaded the module and installed in Back Office. I've also updated the code in the .tpl file to reflect my facebook details.

But i can't see the module in back office? Even though i got the "module updated" message? How do i actually get this module to show in Front Office?

Would appreciate any assistance.

You need to edit the .tpl file that comes with the download. You edit the 3rd line as the instructions say. You basically replace the entire 3rd line with your facebook code. To ge your facebook code you need to log into facebook and create a badge. You can then select the badge type (third party website or whatever you want it for) and it will generate code that you copy and paste into 3rd line of .tpl file. Or at least thats how I did it. However I still have got mine showing in front or back office when I installed it?

Tested module and it works fine, but will always cause errors on ssl pages at the moment, as the data and photos are supplied non securely, face book give a fix for this but it does not appear to work
