Issues when registering new customers

Hi Guys 

 

I would appreciate if someone can help me !!

 

I have recently built a new site - www.infinitestyle.co.uk when trying to register a new customer the entry shows in the back office but no email confirmation is sent to the customer and I can`t login with the customer details , please help .

 

I`m relatively new to all this but can provide any tpl files etc if required for review

If emails are not sent, make sure your email set up is right. Try to make a test email in Preferences -> Email and see if it is sending.

If not, make sure your SMTP settings are right or mail() function is not restricted by hosting provider.

 

Also turn on error showing and make sure there are no PHP errors when registering, maybe that has something to do with customers not being able to log in.
