PrestaShop on Compute Engine, lost all my data

I could install prestashop on Compute Engine and was running happily until couple of days ago.

It stopped working and I had exclamation mark on the VM instance saying: "the instance has been terminated and is no longer running". I rebooted the VM. Nothing changed.

I searched for the error and the only solution was to delete the VM instance, keep data and create instance again.

I did so. Everything was there but my /var/www/ was empty. I searched the whole disk for presta and found nothing. 

 

The database for old Prestashop is still in Mysql. But if I override the new prestashop database with the old database can I get my shop back?
