Can't update product quantities through CSV import

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, I've been using Prestashop for a while on my live shop now but there seems to be an issue (both on 1.6.0.8 and 1.6.0.9 (I've tried both)) where I can't update the product quantities for its attributes by uploading a csv containing the product id, attribute, value, reference, ean13, quantity and minimal quantity.

All it does is create a copy of the size (US Size 9) in the back office so I have two sizes (US Size 9) with one that has quantity 0 (the original quantity) and the other has the new quantity for that size.

But even though both show in the back office, My product shows as "Out of Stock" on the front office, and theres only one of each size, not the duplicates  (US Size 9). Theres 0 stock for all of the combinations.

I'm happy to modify any php or edit the sql database.

Maybe Prestashop isn't recognising they're the same attribute? Maybe I need to set a field somewhere to change this?

Thanks for any help.

why there's no one to answer this question???

It's a common bug for everyone. We can't update products in csv any more. If you want to change the price, although you import new.csv , it will not change the front office.

Please tell us how to make the update by csv importer.
