tkang
Hi All, I'm facing some difficulty on upgrading the prestashop. During the search on prestashop documentation, it show that there is a option available for "auto upgrade" instead of manual upgrade. But the "auto upgrade" is just available for prestashop after version 1.4.x above. So, in this case, i need to manually upgrade prestashop to higher version, anyone try this before? a few question here, 1) I need to manually backup database, i saw a lot of database in "pHpMyAdmin", how to determine which database is link to my website? (previous handle person no longer available, i'm new to prestashop) - Resolved.. database can be found on prestashop>preference>database>database: 2) I shall direct go to version 1.6.x, or i can just go to 1.4.x, then use "auto upgrade" to continue upgrade? 3) Is it possible for me to create a virtual place to upgrade my 1.3.7 to 1.6.x version, to allow me for testing after upgrade process? Resolved, i create a local host to try on new site 1.6.x version. But not able to autoupgrade Thanks for anyone that could help me on this. tuk66
If you are new to PrestaShop, and because there can be many problems during the upgrade I would suggest to hire an expert. It will take less time and nerves.
