Franchu
Hi! I've been learning Prestashop for 2 months now, and i haven't had any trouble so far, just reading forums and docs was enough to solve stuff. But i'm a bit lost with this particular issue. I'm working with Prestashop for a hotel, and what we are trying to achieve is to offer gift vouchers through the shop, so a customer can choose a promotion and buy an associated pdf file, so they can send it to whoever they want. Question is, is there any way i can get the pdf file to grab variables from prestashop so they get printed on it automatically? a reference number like this for example: "00001 / 11-14-2014" that is, a correlative number, increasing with each new order, and current date too. Thanks a lot in advance!
tuk66
The M4 PDF Extensions module can print PDF from customer's account http://www.presta-addons.com/3-87/pdf-extensions.jpg In that PDF, you can use all customer's data as well as call static methods to grab another information. Franchu
Thanks tuk66!, i'll give it a try if i'm not finally able to solve it myself. And there's little hope in achieving it so far hehe. Anyway, do you know of any tutorial/guide where this or something related is explained? Official documentation is getting pretty dense for my brain Thank you!
tuk66
The best documentation is code itself.
Franchu
Ok, i'm going to get myself into it and see if i'm able to get something decent in result. Eventually i'll try the extension though Thanks for the info!
