deech123
Hi Guys, I'm working on my update from 1.3.1.1 to latest 1.6 version. now I do not want to take any module or picture or whatever to the new version. only I want to be sure I have my customers, and maybe if possible their order history. is there any normal and workable solution so I can for example install a clean 1.6 version and at end just insert my customer data into the new db? So I don't lose anything. i have tried for hours now with some of the stuff I find on the internet, but nothing is working. so If somebody knows how I can install a brand new front and back office v1.6 and then just keep my old data in my db.. let me know, since with the normal update procedure I also does not work. d. deech123
well El Patron, believe it or not, I just managed after 2 days to update my old db to the new version. now it's all up to make the standard V1.6 theme working with my old modules.I think I will have to make new or adapt them to work with the newer version. but first things first :-) the theme :-)
