Strange issue during manual installation of the PS 1.6.0.9

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I'm installing newest version of PS on to a subdomain.

Im doing this manually as there are no "one-time-click" scripts under our cPanel like Quick-install or Softaculus...

We updated archive on to a sub domain root and extracted the files.

We created new mySQL db and added user with all the privileges to it.

We stuck at the last stage of the setup wizard (db connection step is fine).

Please take a look at screenshot:

Here are some other screenshots:

Any suggestion?

Dean

Non of above solutions work for me...

My hosting provider BoxSrv.com finally resolve this issue by installing Softaculous installer on our account and I was able to install Prestashop 1.6 using this script.

However, I still don't know why manual installation was not working.

Although guys from my hosting provider are saying this was not server related (some settings were probably not matched with Prestashop requirements ) I highly doubt that.

Nevertheless I installed 1.6 version on my test subdomain and its all good now. Just thought others might need this info...

glad you got it sorted...

ave maria pues...most hosting is set up to run blogs...

then a poor soul comes along wanting to run PS or other ecommerce..then hosting shows it's flaws....

or you have fine running shop, selling, then all the sudden shop  won't load...hosting says content issue...and it's not....I look forward to seeing ps new on demand so ps'ers can just fill in the bloody content boxes and sell...

way to stay at it dolke, and thanks for coming back with status..

happy selling
