Presta 1.6 - Random time to first byte

Recommended Posts

Hi,
can someone help me please to solve time to first byte problem?
I don't know if it is a server issue or my prestashop with 3500+ products (version 1.6.0.8 ).

Shop is here: http://37.61.236.208/~accessau/
I set define('_PS_DEBUG_PROFILING_', false); to true.

Sometimes the same pages load very quick and sometimes it takes to much time.
Example stats for same subpage:

44,91s load time:
http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/dgZl[spam-filter]http://37.61.236.208/~accessau/301-tour-guide-equipment

3,13s load time:
http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/cSlysr/37.61.236.208/~accessau/301-tour-guide-equipment

My BO -> Perfomance settings:

Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much for helping me.

@vekia - yes, it is a shared hosting (not dedicated)

I have same issue all the time.

i would be appreciated if you could make more tests. Focus on left categories menu. Try to click random categories many times.

Sometimes firefox bar icon rotates in left direcotion for a long time (up to 30s waiting for server) and sometimes shop loads perfectly fast.

I just need to determine if it is a server issue or shop scripts...

Thanks.

Hi,

Almost everytime, this issue is sourced by a third-party module consuming too much mysql resources, because of poor coding. While a better server can tolerate this resource-expensive operations, I would first suggest to turn debug profilin on and see what really happens.
