What is the best way to import products? module or CSV file?

I am in need of a module or CSV document that will allow me to upload products. Is there a CSV file that can do this (with explanations on how to use)? or a module that allows you to input everything? I'm using PS 1.5.4.1. and my product section is relatively simple, although I have an extra information section for products called "multiple tabs for products." I'm looking for something that would allow me to at least create the information section, prices, SEO, Associations, Shipping, images, attachments and multiple tabs for products. I can go back and fill out the rest if I need to. 

 

Does anyone know of a module that can handle this or have a CSV file that I can upload? I'm new to this and looking for what people think will work best...

I discovered a long time ago I could not get my head around CSV (I think it's an age thing), so, looking at a very popular module here might help you a lot;

What version of Store Commander would you recommend for what I'm trying to do? Add products to my 1 PS store with version 1.5.4.1. with the additional section of Multiple tabs for Products module. Free, Lite or Solo?Any additional info would be great!! A lot of the videos are in French so I'm having a hard time deciding if this would be any faster than using the BO. They also put a lot of emphasis on categories, which is great, but I have a lot more products than categories... 

 

I've also looked into that other module before using CSV, seems kind of confusing to use...

Just an update. I purchased Store Commander almost 2 weeks ago. It still doesn't work properly and I have spent a lot of time trying to get it to work. The module doesn't upload everything it says it does because of current bugs. 

 

I will continue to use store commander solo, but I wouldn't recommend it as being the best way to import products.
