I have tried to reset, delete, uninstall the ebay module but I can't get it to do anything. I have a profile that I cant delete and it wont let me add a new profile.

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the existing profile or make it let me create a new profile?

I am running latest version of prestashop.

The only action i can get it to do is when i press continue on the ebay data usage section i get error messages

forbbiden.gif Your PayPal email address is not specified or invalid
forbbiden.gif Your shop's postcode is not specified or is invalid
eBay Profiles Id eBay User Id eBay Site Language Nb Current Listings Action Delete Profile   1 shop4utax eBay 7.jpg 0 edit.gifdelete.gif
The bold profile is your current profile. To change the profile you are currently working with, click on the desired profile

I cant get in to change the paypal address or the postcode.

Hi everybody,
We are the web agency in charge of technical support eBay module.
To uninstall the module you need to make a well-precise handling.

Please use the following link to perform the manipulation (item 12):

http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/318961-official-faq-ebay-module/

Ps:Warning: This operation erases the entire eBay configurations but may be sometimes necessary.

Regards,

Keith

@sootski ... you have a link to your backend in the post. I would change that.

@202ecommerce. thank you. Problem in my case was I had to accept the statistic thing before I could change the settings.

All the best, Trip

Hi keith

I have tried it and it still wont delete. The post is a bit confusing as the two exaples of url are different - sometimes there is an = sign sometimes not. I have tried variations with and without and still cant get it to work - as my email is sales@shop4utax can you reply with exactly what to cut and paste at the end of the url please?

Apologies for being so dumb but this has foxed me.

The URL would be:

"http: //myshop.co...odule_name=ebay&=DELETE_EVERYTHING_EBAY=sales@shop4utax"

It will cause the complete erease of ebay module from your PS database and uninstall of the module.
In any case, even after this process, I'm still unable to configure a new account: after I login and accept on eBay to connect eBay to Prestashop, the module keep looping without finishing.

Still doesn't work for me. Doesn't delete anything. Module just refreshes and remains as is.

Sorry, typo:

"http: //myshop.co...odule_name=ebay&[email protected]"

EDIT: installing eBay 1.7.2 (taken somewhere from the french forum), getting the token from there and then updating to 1.8.2 worked for me
