Backup not working

Recommended Posts

Hello my dear forum members,

It's a long story. A friend of mine asked me to take a look at his website which was made using prestashop. Version 1.6.0.7

First of all I FTP'd everything but not the database.

I noticed that the website was using multilanguage but no translations were done so I suggested to delete the other language and first finish the website in the official language, it seemed to work fine except a few minor glitches.

Then, there was two different websites one installed on the root, another on the /laTienda/ folder. The laTienda folder was the one working apparently, so I suggested to move everything to the root, delete the floder and change the official Prestashop url from the backoffice.

It kinda worked, but all the images were blank and had other link problems. Then I decided to FTP back to the first copy  but nothing is working now. I cannot access the backoffice or anything, they want it to work, and I don't know what to do.

I've got the right password but can't login and can't try anything. I entered the database to change the url of the site back to /laTienda but didn't work either. I've cleared the caches,... I'm totally lost.

I need help, what would you do?

Thanks for your attention

Take a back up for database.

Just change the value following values:

Table name ps_configuration.

around 232 primary_key

set values in PS_SHOP_DOMAIN_SSL and PS_SHOP_DOMAIN to  http://www.relojdemarca.com/test_marca

Create one folder directory in following path

/home/relojmarca/domains/relojdemarca.com/public_html/

named "test_marca" and move your core backup into it.

delete cache folder.

Extract it and run it via accessing following link:

There are no fields on the table such as PS_SHOP_DOMAIN_SSL and PS_SHOP_DOMAIN, could it be for another version of Prestashop.

Thank you, what should I do?

This is how the table ps_shop_url looks like now:

ps_shop_url.JPG

Make only one change:

Create one folder directory in following path
/home/relojmarca/domains/relojdemarca.com/public_html/

1) Change the physical_uri  value            /la_Tienda/  To            /test_marca/

Tablename: ps_shop_url
