Template problem

Recommended Posts

I am very new to Prestashop, but have decided to help out a friend to set up a new eCommerce site.  I installed the Prestashop using Go Daddy's auto install method.  I also installed a theme that my friend purchased.  I can get to the dash board and have figured out how to do basic things with his inventory.  This all seems straight forward.  What I can't figure out is how to change all the shop information in the theme.  The theme that was purchased is from Theme Forest and is called Pisces,  If you would like to see the theme, here is a link: http://themeforest.net/item/pisces-multipurpose-responsive-prestashop-theme/8237530?WT.ac=search_item&WT.oss_phrase=pisces&WT.oss_rank=2&WT.z_author=Plaza-Themes

I found a place to upload a logo, and that worked.  I also found places where it says you can update static footer and header, but they seem to have no effect when updated, and they do not have all the information that you would want to update.  I found a text file that has this information in it (\modules\posstaticblocks\sql\staticblock.xml) but even when I change the text in that file, it does not change the information on the web page.

Please tell me what I am missing or point me to a specific tutorial about this problem.  I eventually would like to look at all the tutorials and get better, but I need to get this knocked out right away.

Thanks to all who are willing to help.
