New install PS 1.6.0.9

Hallo
have been trying to install PS 1.6.0.9
Don this now I think about 6 times.
Download / UN-Zip / upload with FTP in sub domain.
Sub domain + folder has been created and linked.
Create new SQL DB

When going on the http / sub domain - install
nothing happens. White page.
No error massage nothing. I have checked the note on requirements
for PS regarding the server . I have checked the server but I can not find
anything obvious that could be wrong.

Server
Apache/2.2.16 Debian
PHP Version 5.3.29-1 dotdeb
MySQL 5.1.73-1
I have total excess  on the server and I could set up a individual space for PS

Running at the moment with out any problem are CMS like  Joomla / xt Commerce

Any idea where I should look for errors?

turn on error reporting, then try install and see if error message is present
