Auto spacing in Category menu?

Hi guys,

I'm new to Prestashop and I got a little problem

I'm creating a shop in localhost just for testing purpose and I found out that the category layout in Prestashop 1.6 is a little bit unique

As you can see in the attachment

The second row, first column category is located too far away from the first row first column category

I can see that it's based on the furthest column which is 4th column on 1st row

My question is

1. Is there any way to eliminate the white spaces between row and ignore the furthest column basis

So it will be something like this

And in the end, I want to create something like this

2. What is the real "rules" of the category positioning since I've seen something like this

As you can see, the first and second column in the second row is ignored, the system automatically put the 6th and 7th category in 4th and 5th column which means that the "furthest column" rules is defied

Thanks

i will be hones with you

without modification there is no solution for this problem.

it's not enough to modify css styles, because there is no code to create list like you want.

i think that you're looking for something like masonry jquery script
