kartaga Posted August 31, 2014 Share Posted August 31, 2014 Hi, I installaed presta shop and after a few changes (sorry I have no notes) in the mudules databse, the whole shop wasn't available anylonger. I mean the front end. An I even can not unse the live change function for the layouts. Attache some error description that might help someone with more experience... I am desperated, since I did a total re-instalation this morning and now I have the 2nd big trouble. KR, Stefan By the way: is there any chance to undo changes, to prevent me from such failures? PrestaHeroes USA Posted August 31, 2014 Share Posted August 31, 2014 Hi, sorry you having issues, but learning yes? when you have issues turn on PrestaShop error reporting to get more info. http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/224525-how-to-turn-on-error-reporting-for-debug-information/ make sure to search using google for example on error message to see if you can find similar issue. The Feedback from the site is: Fatal error: Call to undefined method HomeFeatured::getCacheId() in /volume1/web/prestashop/modules/homefeatured/homefeatured.php on line 130 Google says me nothing ;-( Another hint: In the case I use an adress witch aims to a Produkt, I can enter the shop and everything works. I hope to get it running without work-around ;-) Here the URL, which works: Fatal error: Call to undefined method HomeFeatured::getCacheId() in /volume1/web/prestashop/modules/homefeatured/homefeatured.php on line 130 No need to try out, the shop is in maintanance mode, I can only reach it from my IP. If this really avoids the root failure...I can not judge in the moment. What's curious, the shop is very slow. But at least I have Access again.
