Start Up Problem - can't find pages

Hi,

 

I just installed the prestashop on my Synology Diskstation. I confirmed to have some sample items for the start up.

Everything looked fine until I deleted the sample items and existing categories.

I even added an own category and a item.

 

 

When I open the shop, the new item is on the page. But only the text. Not the picture of it, which should be there. I can see it, when I log in as admin.

And as soon I click on the item or even the category a new page opens and displays in German: "Es tut uns Leid, die von Ihnen gesuchte Seite konnte nicht gefunden werden.". 

Translation is (not literaly): "We are sorry, but the page you are looking for is not available."

 

 

Any Idea??? Or do I need to re-instal everything now???

you removed root category too? 

 

 

have you cleared shop cache? go to preferences > performance and:

- disable cache

- enable force compilation

HI,

 

thanks for the idea. Unfortunately it did not work.

I decided to reinstal prestashop, which was of help until the next problem occured...but this is something for a new thread..
