New Arrival and Popular keep minimizing and not showing products all the time.

Hi guys

 

Now i did a fresh installation of my prestashop, 1.6 (latest), still loving it, but i am fighting some small issues around here and there.

 

This is regarding the frontpage where New Arrivals and Popular is shown. The product in these two sections keep "minimizing" as shown on the picture below, i looked through configurations but i found nothing.

 

The only additional information i have is that i have my shop in catalog mode (which it will be in the future as well).

 

(again i feel dumb for not figuring this out).
