Error after upgrade to 1.6.0.8

Recommended Posts

Hi

1)

Last time i did an upgrade from 1.6.0 to 1.6.0.8 i lost most of the changes i had made in the default theme. Meaning my personal changes.

Will this happen again if I upgrade to the new version?

2) After last upgrade, the add to cart button on the front site stopped working. Strangely it work if you right click and choose open in a new window

Any help?

3) When a product is on or out of stock the green and orange colour works fine. But when i have ex shoes in different size and one of the sizes is out of stock - the button doesn’t change and stays green

Any help here?

Yes, most likely if you have made changes directly to the default-bootstrap theme.  You are supposed to make a copy of the default theme, rename it and use that.  This way upgrades would not effect your theme.  You can then decide to apply any changes to your custom theme after the upgrade is complete.
