Changing Home Directory

Having just installed PS 1.5 (1.6 wouldn't allow my theme to work properly, so I uninstalled it, and reinstalled 1.5), I noticed that my website is now only seen under the following url:

 

www.mywebsite.com/prestashop/index.php

 

instead of

 

www.mywebsite.com/index.php (I will hide the index fold later with .htaccess)

 

In order to get all the files under the home directory, instead of under the prestashop directory, is it simply a matter of moving them all, or will this cause problems with any links? 

 

If that won't work, what's the best way to do it?

you should get new theme,  1.6 has many important new features, especially in performance.

 

if you decide to move forward, make sure new theme supports javascript load bottom.

I'll stay with this theme for now, with PS 1.5.  I moved everything as planned, and it's all working good.  I may upgrade later, but for now, all is good.
