Cannot SELECT THE COUNTRY for the checkout

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

I have a problem with the registration of new customers and the checkout; the "country" field does not provide any choice.

And when I try to enter the menu Location> Zone, from the BO, I get this type of error:

Query SQL not valid

Table 'elemen16_presta01.ps_zone' doesn't exist

Could anybody help me?

Thanks

What version of PrestaShop are you using? Go to Localization>Countries and enable the countries you want enabled. Have you done that?

I am using Prestashop 1.6

Anyway, when I go to Localization>Countries, I get this error: "Bad SQL query

Table 'elemen16_presta01.ps_zone' doesn't exist"

PS. new problem: other registration fields (like Name, Address...) are not displayed anymore. Please help me!

where did you get your installation?  did you download from PrestaShop or use hosting auto installer?

I got the installation from the Prestashop official website. First I worked on my local database and then I imported all the files in the database I created on my domain.

Can you help me?

back office-->localizatioin-->localization

import country with states...maybe this will fix issue

did you try this?

note: it's impossible to copy paste error results so makes difficult to copy and paste into searching for you.  can you paste the error message here rather than screen shot?

Table 'elemen16_presta01.ps_zone' does not exist

the same happens when I go on Localization> states

thank you, now I read..

if you unpack the same release you have, you can search the install folder or otherwise see the default table setting for table zone.  I am traveling and had little time to help in that regard.

knowing how to navigate and review your db via phpmyadmin will make you better shop owner. :)

let us know how it goes.

Sorry for the late in the answer. Anywyay I solved that issue. The fact was that I missed some tables and I just added those tables from local to host. My fault!

It was so kind of you to help me, thank you very much El Patron.

I would like to know if you could help me with a different issue ( I know that is a different topic but please, I need help);

I have a problem with the final step of the checkout; I get an error 500.

I debug the error changing from false to true the PS_MODE_DEV in config/defines.inc.php and I get this type of error. (see attached the screenshot).
