default theme 1.5 is not working correct in 1.6

Hello after updating toward 1.6 ,  in which we choose to keep the default theme from 1.5, we are facing the folowing problem.

 

Several products are presenting a 0,00 price in de cataloque, but a good price in the product itself.

Some products present the other way arround.

 

buying a product gives you teh correct prices in de chat at both faults named above.

the theme was presenting ok before update,.

 

who is able to help us?

we are using the default theme of 1.5. ....  not every product shows the same problems.  some are complete correct several gives a 0,00 price in the catalgue.  and a correct price in the product page.  and several products give the opposit

 

I havend found a sololution in the threads you mentioned.

shop in maint mode so I can not look at it.

 

so try this:

 

visit your front office, right click-->view source.

 

check where you .js files are being loaded, i.e. top of page or bottom  of page

 

if bottom then try this (not recommended for production shops)

 

back office-->advanced parms-->performance

 

set move javascript to bottom to no.

 

this of course is just a guess

 

My advice is to develop off new bootstrap theme or get quality 1.6 compliant theme.  There are performance features in 1.6 when using compliant theme that are to good to pass up.

other tip: test using default bootstrap to see if same issue...if so then one of the pinned topics should resolve.

The default bootstrap does not appear as a theme, owever when adding it says that it has been installed:(

the default theme  must have been replaced with your 1.5 default theme.

 

sorry I can not help more...hopefully you have done upgrade on test shop and can review what you have done and take appropriate action before moving to production.
