prestatent
Prestashop 1.4.8.2 Hello We have a small issue with one of our sites. We allow out of stock ordering if the quantity is >= 0. If a customer adds stock to the basket yesterday when the product is in stock and then comes back today and the product is out of stock, they can still buy the product even though it is now out of stock. Is this a bug? Thanks as always for any help.

prestatent
Thanks for the reply Vekia. We allow customers to pre-order stock that we know will be in on a certain date, in this case the stock level is set to zero. If we know that a product will never be in stock again the stock level is set to -99999 so that they cannot order these products. I've made some modifications to the theme templates and js to cater for this change (-99999 will never be in stock again), and it all works ok.
