[MODULE] Cookies Test Enable - Eng

Cookies are essential to good functioning of prestashop.

This module test if cookies are enabled on the client navgator.

If they are not active, a Thickbox window appears containing a message of your choice


Get module :
It is almost free, a small donation (also accept wholesale) , I deliver the module by mail to the address of PayPal account

Installation Procedure:
1 Go to Tools => CMS
2 Create a new article in the CMS, it must contain an informational message to indicate that the browser cookies are not enabled and save
3 Note the ID of the CMS for cookies.
4 go to Modules => CookiesTest => Installing, and Configuring
5 Enter the ID of the CMS and Save

Here is the Updating V0.4.

This version is displayed in a thickbox window (under the same principle that cgv)

You must type the alert message in the cms, and inform the module ID of the CMS message display!

Un tout petit détail : le CMS apparaît sur le plan du site avec les autres. Y a-t-il un moyen de ne pas l'afficher pour ne pas "préoccuper" les internautes dont le navigateur ne pose pas de problème ?

OS Mac Leopard et FF 3.5

J'ai réglé le problème dans le sitemap.tpl avec un test sur la valeur en dur du CMS correspondant au cookiestest. C'est de la bidouille d'éléphant, mais le cookiestest ne s'affiche plus sur le plan du site dans les informations.

Sorry, I know very little about computer. Why do we need the customers enable their cookies? What is the benefit of doing this? What is the problems if their cookies is not enable?

If your client does not accept the cookie, the site will not function.
Cookies can be blocked by the browser windows, antivirus, network administrator ....
This module can then inform the client that the state of things he can not use this site!

hi,

0.6 gives me no message in IE7, just screens empty box...
and IE gives some errors -

"line 15
char 231
error - tb_pathToImage is undefined
url: .....cms.php..."

in IE6 - it's OK

BOTH were tested on 1.3

Bonjour à tous.

Arghhhhhh ! C'est trop injuste : des mecs donnent de leur temps pour la communauté, et nous à prestatools.com on est pas capables de leur rendre la pareille !!! Notre politique est (malheureusement) de ne référencer que les modules gratuits.

or celui-ci est devenu payant (via un don, certes mais payant). Ca me fend le coeur, mais je suis obligé de le suppr de notre base de données.

Faut vraiment qu'on revoie notre politique, parce que c'est pas normal, ça !

@ plus, et désolé Nomann !
