unable to remove the view button after deleting code from product.tpl version P 1.4.3

Hi, 

 

 

Im new to the forum, i am unable to remove the view button, from product page. Im using Prestashop Version 1.4.3, I have tried to remove the code

 

<a href="{$accessoryLink|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}" title="{l s='View'}">{l s='View'}</a>  

 

from product.tpl from directory themes ->product.tpl

 

im trying to redesign to some of my code. Also, i have tried different ways even the same code located in modules->  homefeatured

 

<a class="button" href="{$product.link}" title="{l s='View' mod='homefeatured'}">{l s='View' mod='homefeatured'}</a>  

 

by deleting above code from homefeatured, but it's not possible.

 

Im in search for every small help and a drop of water to get back my life in prestashop as i have tried a lot,

 

Please Help me!..
