Product image as new email variable

I would like to achieve something similar, which is to display product images in the order confirmation emails to customers.

 

The order_conf template now displays

1. Reference
2. Product
3. Unit Price
4. Quantity
5. Total Price

I would like to replace the value in Product with the corresponding product image instead. How do I achieve this?
