go to modules > positions and unhook module Theme configuration from hook displayTopColumn.

then your website will look like:

 

then go to homeslider.css and change max-width param to 1180px; in:
 

#homepage-slider {
padding-left: 0;
padding-right: 0;
margin-bottom: 14px;
width: 100%;
max-width: 779px;
max-height: 448px;
overflow: hidden;
position: relative;
z-index: 1;
float: left;
}

after that upload new pictures to your slider.

I can see you have categories on top of the site, but I have the old classic style with the left side and plus signes.

 

How can I have the Categories as it is on your pictures?

you use some other template? or what?

im confused a little, so let's clarify.

2) you use theme named default-bootstrap

3) you don't have menu like menu on image that i attached
