Since Prestashop we can not duplicate products in categories such as turns out to be a bit time consuming to create a tree of categories to support 67,000 products.

After changed the xls2sql came the idea of building this program, Unlimited Categories Version 1.0, due to the need to create hundreds of categories.

The xls2sql should be used to create the TXT file with the data of Unlimited Categories. Attached is also this program already set up to create the list of categories in txt file. See how it's done and after complete extraction of the remaining data from Unlimeted Categories.

Then just go to the import in control panel of the database file and import the txt file. After then check the site to see the results and give a smile.

The example of program that comes by default creates a list of categories that sends alerts and displays an error at the end of the list on purpose. The first warning should answer "no" to create the list as drafted. After the End of the list will say that there was a mistake and if you read the rules will see why.

I would love to see comments on your experience with the program, whether positive or negative, as were about 16 hours a day dedicated to this project for 8 days.

I will wait for your Feedback

This looks very interesting but since the forum has been updated the links to your files are broken. Can you repost these file so we can download them?

I want to import some products from .xls to sql and would like to try this! Thanks
