I want to have small picture for cover and front pages and large one for main product picture. Now, I can't have main picture reduced and showed as a cover picture because it doesn't show well what product is all about when reduced to small dimensions. I'm selling t-shirts and if I use large picture for all purposes buyer can't see what's on the t-shirt, so I have another thumbnail-size picture I would like to use instead. However, when I upload both pictures, main and cover, in product view I first get the cover picture on the left. It doesn't look nice, since it's small, I would like to show main picture first or just the main picture.
Even if I change the picture order, it shows second picture which is a cover picture first, so I have to hover over the main picture to get it enlarged.
Is there a way to fix this?

Ok, I figured it out myself. Just pick main picture as a default when making combinations i.e. Size, Color, so I put size Large is default when someone enters product view and then I check my large picture for that particular size and that solves it. So the only downside is that you have to pick on combination as default and I don't know what to do if you don't have combinations.
