(Solved)Product View Format Problem with Font Size Change

Bonjour

I have attached 2 JPG images to illustrate my question. Usually I can solve these kinds of problems, but I am puzzled here.

I changed the Body font-size from 11px to 12px. This caused the product view format to go from horizontal to vertical. I am not happy with this and there is room for the horizontal version. I need a simple way to put it back to horizontal while keeping the 12px font size. Changing the Preference/Image from 300px to 250px does not fix it because the border around the image does not adjust to accommodate, although it really should. Any suggestions?
