My client wants to use Checks only for payments on his store… yet when I get to the order process and click on pay by check the browser can’t find the modules/cheque/payment.php page. I can see it fine on ftp. I have tried all of the different CMOD’s I’ve seen on this board 0755 for the cheque module 0644 for its contents but nothing seems to work.

Is this a database issue? I am using Host Gator for hosting this store.

Check if the module directory and the file names are all using the correct case. If it is in upper case but the url is in lower case, the server won't use it.

It's all lower case so that shouldn't be the problem. I tried adding the bank wire option and now it fails in the same way as the check module.

Here's the site. (on HostGator)

http://174.132.193.9...le/prestashop1/

Try to complete a transaction (again it's check only so I'm not phishing for any private info - use a fake name and a note that this is for test purposes.) Everything works fine until you try to pay by check or wire.

(I did reupload the modules but to no effect.)

Thanks for your help

Brian

Hi,
Was able to solve mine after a few moving clicks
Since you use Hostgatr ( I use that as well )
Simply do this
In your conrtol panel , change permissions for the following folder e.g Cheque Module to 775. You can do this by clicking inside the box till you get 755.
Secondly click the folder and change permission to 644 to all the sub directories,
After doing test your shop again and this should work,

This is my test shop
http://www.sponsorabride.com/presta/
so fool around with it, if you have any other issues just let me know if I can help I will.
Hope this helps

I forgot to mention that you do not need to change permissions for Logos or jpg files , just permissions for files

775 or 755?

I've tried all sorts of permutations and I still get the same error...
