Hi there,

After yesterday's 7 hour stint to migrate from my old software to prestashop on my store, everything is going better. I've almost perfectly duplicated my old store, which is nice! I'd also like to say (before I state my question) how impressed I am with PrestaShop and how cool it is that it's open source!

Now, to my question...

Is there a way to display related products on the product details pages?

ie. User is on the page listing the details of product A, and below those details there's a showcase of products B, C and D which are all related to product A.

If this is possible, I'd appreciate if somebody would let me know how. I don't care whether it's through the Back Office or I have to dig into the code.

Thanks in advance...

Mogul

You can install the Product Category module to display other products in the same category on the product page, or if you want to specify the related products, you could add the related products as accessories and then use Translations to change "Accessories" to "Related Products".

Exactly what Im looking for also.

Can you tell me what file I need to change the defines in. Been looking here and cant seem to find it.

Thanks

Eoin

EDIT:

I found it: not in a file like I was looking for but in the Back End Office.

For anyone else looking where they can change the wording through-out their prestashop.......

Go to Admin > Tools > Translations >

In the first box (Modify Translations) choose one the options and you will see a list of all the text used in the prestashop.
Find the word/phrase you want to change and type it in the box oposite to it on the right.

Finally, click Update Translations.

Thats it! Easy Peezy!
