A new version of PrestaShop, v1.2 alpha 1 is now available!

After several months of bug corrections and development, the PrestaTeam is pleased to provide you with a new test version of PrestaShop.

Be careful, this is a test version, and it should not be used in production.

In this new version : a lot of fixed bugs of the V1.1, and many new features, including:

- The possibility to create groups of customers, and to propose them specific ways of payment

- A tracking of products "abnormal": empty, disabled ...

- Improved tags management

- The possibility to attach files (PDF manual ...) to products

- The opportunity to view real-time the content of your customers' cart

- And... many more

Stay tuned for the next version ! ;-)

A new version of PrestaShop, V.1.2 alpha 1 is now available!

I like it, but i check the "coming soon" features and i wanna ask that this features is in the final 1.2 ?

* Product comparison
* Advanced search
* FAQ module
* Multiple Shops
* Printable shipping label
* 1-click purchase
* Per-item shipping cost
* Download catalog as PDF
* Export products as .CSV file

Work with another partner shops is very important to export csv or just give the csv to administrate to the shops owner!!! I dont like to let in to admiistrator page the shop owner:)

Anyway i thing this is much better for avarege shops, than magento. people dont need many features from magento and to hard to install to a normal hosting. And now we see magento going to commercial and the big magento cost 9000 dollar:) Not freeware anymore. okay its it, but everybody know if a opensource thing have a bigger commercial brother, the litle one is not working to stable(directly or not)
I thing if you make the all "coming soon" features after this thing growing for big eklephant:)

And big big up for the affiliate system!!!!

Yea I cant wait for a 1.2 Stable. A unique link based affiliate system is the most vital module that I would like to see. Because not every store has the kinds of products that would be favorable to use an email only based affiliate system.

Edit: Installed and found in admin a htaccess generator.

thank you very much

the more time spent before it is pronounced stable the better

becuase we need stable version like V1.0 not V1.1 which is full of bugs :(

I will try this one and I hope it will work just fine

but why the Download link for V1.0 is removed ??? it was the best version in my opinion I wish you put it back :)

It would be nice to be able to test v1.2 alpha 1 and it's new features in a Showcase demo !

Why is the Showcase demo Current version: 1.0 stable (1.0.0.8) ?

If the reason is you want the Showcase demo to be a "Stable" version for "newbies" to try out, then why not add another link somewhere else to the latest svn version ?

That way, existing users can see what's changed and be able to test it without having to download and install it on their own servers.

Dear Presta Team,

Thanks for the great product.

You said the V1.2 Alpha has many bug fixes from V1.1. How if, users don't want to upgrade to V1.2, but still need bug fixes for V1.1 ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I have already used the version 1.2 Alpha.

One of your bugs-fixed that I read from the ChangeLog_1.2.0.1 is:

Quote

- [-] BO : Product cancellation (before the status "payment accepted") fixed (the order's total was wrongly changed)

I have been waiting for this fix for such a long time, and thank you very much for fixing this bug.

Can't wait for the stable version. ;-)
Sincerely,
Masino Sinaga

Exactly: how much must we wait? One day, one week, one month, one year, one lifetime .....

"One love
One blood
One life
You got to do what you should
One life
With each other
Sisters
Brothers
One life
But we're not the same
We get to
Carry each other
Carry each other
