sbordun
HI, I am using the latest version 1.4.6.2. The Shopping Cart summary shows the Estimated Tax more than $0 for the user who did not registered. Reproducing the bug: 1) Back end: 1.1)set up Canadian taxes on backend: NO TAX 0% - North America, GST 5% - Canada, HST 13% - Ontario, 1.2) Tax based on : delivery address 2) Front end: 2.1)add the item ($100 before taxes) into shopping cart 2.2)open the shopping cart summary (attached image 1) 2.3) The Estimated Sales Tax has to be == $0 because the delivery address is unknown, but it shows $5 (Calculated as Item1 * Country GST 5%) !!! WRONG !!! 2.4) register user with delivery address in Ontario and refresh the shopping cart summary 2.5) the tax calculated correctly now My suggestion: 1) If tax based on delivery address, do not calculate the Tax and do not show any Tax rows 2)once the delivery address is available, show all appropriate Tax rows and recalculate Tax and totals 3) The same for "Total Shipping" : The shipping should not be calculated if the delivery address is unknown 4)Show the Tax Name instead of "Estimated Sales Tax", i.e. this example should show: HST(13%) : $13.13. Canadian Revenue Agency requires to show the TAX name. 5) Register HST and GST numbers on Back-end and show them on the customer's invoice (Canadian Revenue Agency requirement) Regards, Sergiy
