eBay module?

Hi,

What I was thinking was a module or something that links in with ebay so that when a customer buys from ebay it updates the stores inventory. Also is it possible to add customers details to PS from Ebay. I know Royal Mail do a similar thing with SmartStamp.

Maybe I’m just living in dream world but does anyone think this is possible and would anyone else be interested in seeing it as a feature?

Google Shopping or Froogle Feed or Google Base uploads

Many have probably heard of this before, but I think Prestashop needs a google base feed.

This is free service from google and helps get every product listed in google shopping. At least that has been my experiance.

This feed can sometimes be found under Froogle Feed in other projects. I have built many OSC sites and used the Froogle Mod. We would be missing a huge oportunity is this feed wasn't available some time. I just wanted to call it out to get it on the radar.

Costs for Protx and Mal’s Ecommerce payment gateways

Hello,
Can someone provide me with costs for developing a payment gateway to Protx (http://www.protx.com) there is an OS Commerce module at http://techsupport.protx.com/osdirectcartguide.asp

And Mal's Ecommerce (http://www.mals-e.com), I know this is a shop as well, but there is an option to store the credit card details and for managers to access this – perhaps is something that can be implemented into PrestaShop so that shop owners can process the credit cards off-line.

BizarShop, which is a python e-commerce solution allows for the credit card details to be emailed in an encrypted email which is sent to the shop owner email address, again this will be a real plus.

Any thoughts and advise much appreciated.

Ogone payment gateway module

Hi All,

I was wondering if there are people interested in an Ogone payment module. With just this one module you can except a whole bunch of payment methods and be able reach a big audience by offering multiple payment possibilities. Ogone works together with more than 6000 traders, has more than 80 banking connections and offers more than 25 locale payments method. Ogone is one of the main players on the European continent providing online payment services. Since Prestashop is a European opensource ecommerce solution and a state of the art piece of work wouldn’t it be logic to have a payment module offering a payment gateway that covers and offers local payment solutions for the largest ecommerce markets in Europe.
I don’t mind paying for the module and if there are more interested people the cost would be negligible.

Unfortunately if don’t have developers skills otherwise I would develop it myself.

I still believe such a module covering multiple local payment gateways would lift this state of the art opensource ecommerce solution to a higher level.

Is there someone who wants to assist, develop this module?

A few important points about the Feature Request tool:

Before requesting a feature, please conduct a Search to make sure it has not already been submitted. Duplicate Feature Requests will be canceled.
All Feature Requests must be written in English. FRs made in other languages will be canceled. For translation assistance, please leave a message in your language’s subfolder on our Forum and ask someone to help with the translation and to create a Feature Request in English.
Please create one Feature Request per requested feature. FRs containing more than one request will be canceled.

We think you’ll find the Feature Request tool to be a more effective way to track new features to be added to PrestaShop. Super cache to prestashop

Can womeone adapt the very popular supercache to prestahop ?
my shop runs slower and slower as i add new product.
the principle :
This plugin generates static html files from your dynamic site. After a html file is generated your webserver will serve that file instead of processing the comparatively heavier and more expensive PHP scripts.

Automatic Customer Email

Hi Everyone,

We have a client that is requesting a way that their customers can enter certain dates (such as spouse’s birthday) when they create an account. Once that info is entered, they would like an automatic email to be sent out to the customer a couple of weeks before that date reminding them of the occasion coming up with suggested products for them to buy.

Is there anyway to manipulate PrestaShop the way it is now to do this? Or is this something that can be added in a future release?
