Track your Achievements with the New Merchant Expertise Module

It brings us an overwhelming joy to see our merchants come from nothing more than a great idea, all the way to a full-fledged international business corporation. Sometimes it is hard for them to fathom just how far they’ve come. No more, we wanted to do something different; we wanted to give our customers a way to track just how much they’ve grown and progressed over the days, months and years. That is why we’ve created the new Merchant Expertise module, installed on every new PrestaShop version.

In this module we have created a system of badges and points that make it easy to monitor your progress as a merchant. We have broken down this system into three levels, all of which are integral to success in the e-commerce world:

  1. Features: Your use of key Ecommerce features such as Site Performance, Catalog Size, Employees and SEO
  2. Achievements: Your completion of specific key Ecommerce goals such as number of Customers, Orders and Revenue
  3. International: Tracks your presence in key International Markets such as the Americas, Oceania, Asia, Europe, Africa and Maghreb

The more progress your store makes, the more badges and points you earn. There is no need to submit any information or fill out any forms. We know how busy you are; everything is done automatically. Use this tool to drive your business, view your progress and reflect on your great achievements. Only you have the power, and only you know how much work it took to get where you are. Why wait any longer? Start the journey today with PrestaShop.

I just installed Prestashop 1.5.4, back office is working well but my front office has an HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error). How to fix this urgently?

Hi Stephanie, an Error 500 is a very generic error. You would need to turn on your Error Reporting to find more information. In PrestaShop 1.5.4 it is under /config/ line 28 and change DEV Mode to TRUE and Display Errors to ON.

  2. Is anyone else concerned about this?

First you want to advertise to me in *my* admin panel.

Then you want to try to sell me modules in *my* modules list.

“There is no need to submit any information or fill out any forms. We know how busy you are; everything is done automatically.”

Who are you to keep tabs on *my* shop?

Enough already. You can’t make any money with open source. We get it.

    • My friend, I think that you misunderstood something.. PrestaShop gives us software to setup our own e-business and they don’t ask money for that. So practically they can advertise and in general do whatever they like with that and we owe not to tell anything. And understand one thing.. Opensource or not, nothing runs without money. Tell for example your hosting provider: Hey, you know something my software is open source so get the hell out of here..
