Open-source software can sometimes be difficult for first-timers to learn, especially since there is so much room for change and customization. But Melinda Odom of Design Hosting has committed herself to simplifying that process for everyone, from our newest users to the most active PrestaShop developers.
The 64 year-old from Arkansas has devoted herself to creating comprehensive user guides to PrestaShop, which she posts to our forums upon completion. She has been a loyal PrestaShop user since 2008, and is one of our most active community members on the PrestaShop forums.
At Design Hosting, Melinda provides website and graphic design services as well as hosting for her clients. She created her first PrestaShop storefront for a client in 2009, and soon after that she migrated all of her existing clients to PrestaShop from their oscommerce platform.
The current edition of her user guide is for PrestaShop version 1.4.0, but she is putting the finishing touches on her latest version now. You can also visit our online user guide here.
