Thanks Tom, v1.6 will be released this quarter, but remember, this is still a beta and is not recommended for Live use. We want everyone to get their hands on it and test it on their local site, or development site.

    Nice job!

Will the beta be updateable to the next beta. And finally to the release?

Hi Marco, technically speaking, it’s possible. However, why would you do that? Our stance is clearly that this is for testing only and must not be used on a live store. Files and still be optimized and modified until we release the final version and I don’t want you to get the idea that it’s a good thing to start developing live stores on the testing version. Feel free to try it out on a local or development environment and be sure to submit your feedback.

    Hello Benjamin,

Im aware it’s only for testing. I’ve a project coming that will take a bit of time, so i’d rather start filling stuff with the beta then hop from 1.5 to 1.6 when it’s time to go live.

Have the Alpha already for a testrun, and was quite pleased. It went quite te way i hoped when started out with 0.97 end 2007? ( long time already..)

Hey Marco, if you are asking my opinion, you can add things to the beta, but only to see how it looks. I strongly suggest that you wait until the Final version is released to start adding products to your project. Don’t use the beta and upgrade to the final version 1.6. My two cents.

      Good luck,

Can you please implement this submitted fix to Advanced Stock Management: http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFV-11263

Or do it in your own style. Packs should not remain crippled (pack quantity tracking should be automatic).
    Thanks.

      Hey beluga,

Thanks for the link, we do have a member of our team looking at this issue. I won’t expect these fixes to be introduced in the v1.6 right away, but it definitely is something we are working on. I’ll mention this and find some more information for you.

      Cheers,

    Hi,

Great work, I like it very much. But please give some attention to the CMS + Alphabetical order for the category / product filter in the backoffice.

    Thanks

Hi Stefan, we’re glad you like it. The ordering of the category product filter is definitely something we are working on. We know that it is a feature that has been requested and reported on our issue-tracker. We are working on the technical side of things and expect that improvement to come a short time after the release. Keep the feedback coming, we love it!

  8. Hello, good job, congratulations, just a question, as the template is edited.
