Last Thursday, 21 April 2011, we welcomed 6 Community members and integration specialists to our offices.
What better way to improve our solution than to take advice from people who integrate with PrestaShop on a daily basis? The ideas and solutions submitted by the community showed us what we needed to optimise in order to meet all integrators’ needs.
After an afternoon of discussions, we established the way we needed to structure the skeleton (architecture with no graphics added), which will form the basis for the new default theme provided with the future version 1.5 of PrestaShop.
The skeleton will also enable all integrators to take advantage of the structure of the PrestaShop themes and add on the graphic parts they produce. It will therefore be easier and quicker for professionals in the field to integrate themes with PrestaShop.
