PrestaShop BlogThe jury of the Open Innovation Awards announced yesterday the list of the 20 innovative start-ups in the Open Source sector, that will be invited to present at the Open Innovation Summit, on the October 2nd, in presence of investors, integrators and the public of the Open World Forum in Paris. PrestaShop is one of them!
Reunion of the Global trade with plenary lectures, related events, workshops and business meetings, the Open World Forum provides opportunities for exceptional meetings between decision makers and actors of Free Software from 20 countries.
The 2009 edition of the Forum will host a Summit of Innovation: the Open Innovation Summit, followed by an international judging panel, who will offer the "Open Innovation Awards" to start-ups that have managed to present the most promising project in terms of innovation, technology use and Open Source models, and potential for value creation.
20 start-ups have been nominated among the many proposals received, and PrestaShop is one of them.
Stefane Fermigier, co-chairman of the Jury says: “This first selection was difficult given the wealth of candidates ranging from incubation companies to already well known in the community of Open Source. This richness and rigor of our evaluation process is the guarantee that the winning companies will be true champions of Open Source innovation.”
